 Welcome to Umayal's Kitchen

Hi,
     I am Uma Sivakumar @Umayal lives in Palm beach garden, Florida. Welcome to my food blog, "Umayal's Kitchen". My passion is cooking, love to cook, like to serve delicious food to others. My native is Devakottai, town in Chettinadu. Hospitality and varieties of food served in Chettinadu marriages are awesome, always they will get first place in this journal. My maternal grand mom is a great cook and her name is Umayal. My mom is my great role model to learn many dishes and serve tastier. She does NV dishes like Mutton kuzhambu, Chicken kuzhambu more tastier.  My lunch box always had special recipes like Vazhaipoo vadai during my school and college days, my friends always appreciate my mom’s preparation that she is taking so much effort on working days. My parents, brother, friends and relatives appreciate my cooking while tasting it. My hubby is very good in telling comments on my preparation and always appreciate my cooking. While you have very good people surrounding you, you can reach heights. These appreciations triggered me to start a blog. 
         In this blog, I would like to share all chettinadu recipes which I have tried at home. You can provide your comments after trying it, I too have channel in YouTube as "Umayal's Kitchen". Thanks for reading, happy and healthy cooking, eating.
